School Days

Sara and Joseph have started their new school year!! Their first day of 3rd grade and Kindergarten was August 11. I was able to make arrangements with my work to come in a little later so that I could take them to school their very first day. They have both been SO excited for weeks now, and they're really ready to go back. There's been lots of fighting and getting into school and getting busy learning is just what they need! Here they are just before we left to take them to school..

Sweet little Joseph
My sweet Sara

I wasn't able to pick them up at the end of school, as I work until 3 every day and they get out at 3 (and I work 30 minutes away from their school). And I had a curriculum meeting that I needed to go to after school for my work as well, so I didn't get home to the kids until about 5. :( But at least daddy and grandpa were able to pick them up.
After dinner, I took Sara and Joseph to Dairy Queen and found out all about their first days with them over ice cream. :)

She looks just like you! Hope all is well for you guys. Those kids are growing so much! I hardly recognize them.

What fun memories to make. I am not ready for school to start quite yet. I am glad we have until the 21st.

Have a great week.

That is so fun, Domanik starts kindergarten soon, and though I am happy, I am sad as well. Your kids are so cute!!!
